ATHLETICS

Congratulations to our varsity volleyball team for their massive 5-set victory against Sts. Peter and Paul yesterday! With this win, they are now 2-0 on the season. Way to go Lady Panthers!!!

CLUBS

Auditions for the fall play will be held this Monday, September 14th after school in the drama room. This year we will be presenting two one acts (one comedy and one thriller). Please have a 30 second memorized monologue prepared. There are LOTS of roles available. If you cannot make the auditions on Monday and would still like to audition, please see Mrs. Lorenz in the drama room (second floor arts academy room 252).

Model UN students! The first Model UN club meeting will be on Thursday, September 10th, at 2:40pm in Ms.Vila’s room: 160. See you there!  

CAMPUS MINISTRY

After school there is a meeting for adult chaperones in the Office of Campus Ministry to prepare for the Revive and Rekindle Retreat. All chaperones please try to attend. 

The Apostle in Action club will be serving at the St. Mary’s Picnic on Sunday, September 12th. To sign up, register on the sign up sheet outside the office of Campus Ministry.

ATHLETICS

Cross Country has the Trials of Miles Meet today at 3:20 PM. Early dismissal is at 12:15 PM.

Tomorrow, Saturday, Varsity Football plays away against Georgetown Prep at 6:00 PM. The bus will leave for players at 3:15 PM. The game will also be live streamed.

CAMPUS MINISTRY

Do you like to pray the rosary? The rosary is a beautiful prayer that walks through important events of the Bible and helps you to meditate on the life and ministry of Jesus. The rosary club will begin meeting on September 21st during Homeroom. Sign up at the Club Fair next week.

CAMPUS MINISTRY

Apostles in Action is a club that plans service projects that students can do together. Our first project is usually the St. Mary's Parish Picnic, which is on September 12th this year. 

If you want to sign up to help at the picnic, see the sign-up sheet outside Mrs. Vawter’s office. 

If you are interested in doing fun service projects with others, plan to join the Apostles in Action club and bring your ideas for service to our first meeting.
