Department of Foreign Language

The goal of the Department of Foreign Language is to promote an awareness of cultural diversities through the study of Latin, French or Spanish. Varied  levels of proficiency are expected after the completion of each year of study.

The department organizes several events throughout the year including events to celebrate Spanish Heritage Month in October and Discovering Languages month in February, during which the morning prayer is recited in a variety of languages.

Students who excel may take the National Latin Exam or be inducted into the National Latin, French or Spanish Honor Societies.
