The Colonel Patrick Renehan, USAF Memorial Scholarship
As on of the founders of the Pallotti High School Football Program, Pat Renehan made it possible for young men countless young men to compete in the sport. He coached teams at Pallotti for nine years and tool great pride in the players he instructed.
Mr. Rehehan served as the President of the Pallotti Guild, the President of the Booster Club as well as on the Board of Directors. He is retired Colonel of the United State Air Force and Vice President of the Aero Space Kaman Corporation.
Student Eligibility
Applicants must be currently enrolled at St. Vincent Pallotti as a 10th, 11th, or 12th grade student. This scholarship is for a male student athlete participating in football or
basketball. Transfer students must complete one full year of attendance at St. Vincent Pallotti High School before applying for this scholarship. Financial need and
recommendations are also taken into account in choosing the recipients.
While this scholarship is non-renewable, a student may apply in subsequent years. This $1000 scholarship will be given annually to help offset tuition.
Selection Criteria
Applicant must enclose a typed essay of 250-500 words addressing the following question: What is the importance of a Catholic Education? They must also complete the scholarship application, which can be downloaded by clicking here.
Selection of the award winner will be made by the selection committee and be announced no later than September 30th of the following school year.
