Application Procedure

Due to the overwhelming number of applicants and the increasing demand for financial aid, we encourage students to apply as early as possible in the fall of their eighth grade year and to submit their financial aid applications with their admissions application. 

US citizens are required to pay a $100 application fee. International students are required to pay $150 application fee.

We offer rolling admissions and early admissions. Early Admissions application deadline is
December 15. Decision letters will be mailed on February 25, 2010.

Archdiocese of Washington Elementary School Students:
1. Students must submit all of the following by December 15.

  • The Application for Admissions
  • The Parental Acknowledgement Form
  • The Applicant Questionnaire
  • Non-refundable $100 application fee

2. Students attending Catholic elementary schools in the Washington Archdiocese will have initiated the transfer of records and school recommendations by indicating Pallotti on the “ARCHDIOCESAN CHOICE FORM”.

3. 9th Grade applicants are required to take the Archdiocese of Washington High School Placement Test (HSPT) through their Archdiocesan elementary school. Please note that in order to have your scores sent to Pallotti, you must select Pallotti on your Choice Form and the test answer sheet.

4. All applicants will be interviewed by the Director of Admissions in January. You will be contacted to schedule your Parent/Student Interview.

Students from Archdiocese of Baltimore schools and area public schools:
1. Students must submit all of the following by December 15.

  • The Application for Admissions
  • The Parental Acknowledgement Form
  • The Applicant Questionnaire
  • Fill out the Records Release Form and submit it to their current school
  • Two teacher recommendations from current Math & English teachers
  • A non-refundable $100 application fee

2. Pre-register to take the Archdiocese of Washington High School Placement Test (HSPT). Please note that in order to have your scores sent to Pallotti, you must select Pallotti on your registration form and the test answer sheet. You may obtain a registration form at www.adw.org.

3. All applicants will be interviewed by the Director of Admissions in January. You will be contacted to schedule your Parent/Student Interview. Selection, testing and interviewing play critical roles in the admissions process. The committee gives great consideration to educational performance, teacher recommendations, personal characteristics, and special talents or circumstances which warrant the admission of students who are likely to contribute to the vitality of the Pallotti community.
