Extracurricular Activities - Spanish Honor Society

La Sociedad Honoraria Hispanica is an honorary society that was founded by the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese to recognize outstanding high school Spanish students.

The annual induction is held in December. In order to be considered for membership, a student must be in level 3 or 4, must maintain a B+ /A average and must show an active interest in the Spanish language and Hispanic culture.

Activities are determined by each year’s society members, but always included are tutoring and joint projects with La Societe Honoraire de Francais and the National Latin Honor Society.

Moderator: Ms. Sandy Bock
